If you had nothing left to lose........
If you had nothing left to lose who would you sell your story to - press wise - even give it away for free if it helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is there any national paper who would do such a story other than the 'sunday SPort'. They are all keen to publish the propaganda that gets out on behalf of our friends so what about the other side. Prefer TV but how do you go about getting to someone who wouldbe interested?????
I know legal people also happy to contribute to the fight.
Please PM if sensitive, but all pracitical suggestions please......

Re: If you had nothing left to lose........
The Daily Mail hates the RSPCA with a passion.
The Countryside Alliance is always going head to head with them but the Mail is the one that`s more likely to pay.

If you had nothing to lose...
Hi millie1*...I have to agree with Admin and I think I'd go for the Daily Mail. But have also seen quite damning articles in 'respectable' papers like the Independent and the Torygraph. Most of the horse magazines are so up themselves it defies belief, forget them. Just try offering a synopsis to them all one after the other...if you get no reply from one within x days, assume it's a no-no and try the next. And start writing NOW...and good luck. They have had so much recent bad publicity that a bit more will lose them even more supporters. If the shit has really hit the fan, I think I would go for it. There are other people on the site who can endorse what you say about them taking horses and moving them several times without a passport etc...telling lies in and out of court. Your story would be a few thousand words at least...it did occur to me earlier that you could fill a book.

There`s plenty of ammo on the net to go at and i`m sure that the tabloids will have a good supply.
The Telegraph and the Mail are well aware of RSPCA tactics and goings on.

Got a bite!...............National Paper
Well how about that an immediate response from the Daily Telegraph guy - funny same paper that printed something not so savoury but hey, any publicity for us victims....... Wants to talk. Anybody got anything they want added...
Trilby I know you will want the harrassment, costs and the very sad death of you mare mentioned.
Moonstone - are you out of the woods and interested in adding to experience - ie the rough treatment by the police? and death of you animals in RSPCA custody?
Anyone else please let me know

If you had nothing left to lose.
Yes count me in..i would be very happy to relate the disgusting treatment that i received at the hand's of the animal thugs also think the Daily Mail would be a good bet as they have printed several articles about "our friend's" which show them in a bad light

Katharine Quarmby
Misty, spot on,,,KQ is extremely well-respected, and is totally anti the way the R$PCA prosecutes, in fact is against a lot of unfairness. She certainly is well worth an email. I remember you mentioned her before in some context...well remembered misty!

Thanks - email sent asking her position
Thanks guys - emailed her website and gave her outline of poor justice - ie the loopholes of Sec 20 etc, the weak vets used to override experienced ones, the lies from the police (as we have just witnessed) and Inspectors under oath, the fact that RSPCA suicides are rising. But lets face it we are not the only victims - there are also the animals they take - we have evidence of at least 4 people of this site whose animals have suffered once in RSPCA hands - many even before any trials etc take place -perhaps we could start a new trend - anyone fancy a tatoo saying ' RSPCA Victim - fragile handle with care'

I believe the Daily Mail journalist you need to contact is Guy Adams.
