Another article in the Daily Mail
can't post the link as a new member, but a good article today about how the RSPCA has moved away from its role as a charity to an organization that focuses on prosecutions.
A bit more exposure is always good

Re: Another article in the Daily Mail
I saw it too but i don`t know how to post a link, i`m not sure why you can`t though.
Maybe we can get a How to post a link stickied at the top.
Bad publicity is good publicity.

I did post this link in "RSPCA Spends £300k On Hunt Case" but the more it is posted, the more people may see it so here it is again. I am the world's worst on computers, but my son taught me how to cut and paste on a Mac. However, I seem to recall it changed slightly on a laptop. If you Google "cut and paste" there are some really straightforward tutorials. There are also lessons in "copy and paste" if you want to be really flash!
I must say, an awful lot of people I know seem to have read the article and are starting to doubt the usefulness of RSPCA as an animal charity.

I do not "do" Twitter at all, eever, but this was the only place I was told I could find this reply to the article in the Mail...had hoped it might be in a national paper, but no, RSPCA only writes it in Twitter. they are describing the female inspector who spilled the beans as "a disgruntled ex-employee" who was under investigation for several things...animal welfare concerns, animal theft, firearms concerns,?? etc". If they are making it up one hopes she will sue them.

Re: Another article in the Daily Mail
We also have this about the two ex members of staff who have gone to the
Mail:
Please be aware of the fact that Dawn Aubrey-Ward is a disgruntled
former employee of the RSPCA who was subject to a disciplinary
investigation for alleged theft of animals. She left the organisation
with matters still pending.
There were also police concerns drawn to the RSPCA's attention of
irregularities relating to her possession of firearms and some welfare
concerns regarding animals under her care during her working time for
us
Also please be aware that as a member of the Countryside Alliance,
Angela Egan-Ravenscroft is part of an organisation that seeks the
return of bloodsports and is unlikely to have a positive opinion of
the RSPCA
Klare Kennett
RSPCA acting head of press
Mrs Ward .. Irregularities relating to her possession of firearms ..
That`s a new one isn`t it??
