This is related, I promise

Post  Candcane on Fri Mar 28, 2014 6:32 am

This is an odd one for this forum. I cannot post much detail here as I have a concern, but please feel free to PM me.

If you suspected someone had a drink problem, then how would you go about proving it? It's a pretty serious allegation and so I have to be careful.

Do any of you know much about drink problems or know the signs (apart from the obvious)

I`m also interested as to how they arrived at a fine of 10k when a magistrate can only issue a max fine of 5k and a max prison term of 6months.

Probably not the correct phrase

Think it was actually COSTS rather than fine - just a point to be clarified but they can charge what they like on costs - no limit!
