Today's the start of it all!
Today is the day for my first Court Appearance and thanks to members of this forum I know what to expect and feel very cool, calm and collected.
The first appearance is just for my plea so hopefully I'll only be in there for a few minutes. What I do hope is that the Magistrates Court do not treat me like a criminal until they have both sides of the story.
The hearing isn't until 1pm so I've done my ponies, having some breakfast, dropping one of my children with a friend and will take a leisurely drive to the Court. I don't want to be in a flap so I intend to arrive early and have a book to sit and read so that I can ignore the RSPCA Solicitors staring at me
Chocks away chaps!

That's the right attitude...glad I managed to pm you yesterday morning. RSPCA inspector (if he's there) should not speak to you and their solicitors likewise. I had RSPCA and WHW sitting a few feet away drinking coffee and we did not acknowledge each other's existence. She (RSPCA) and he (WHW) got paid to sit there for FIVE days. Drinking coffee and gossiping. Nice to see where your donations go. Similarly, the court staff (ushers etc, the guys in the little black gowns!) were polite. The only ones who got arsie were the magistrates because my so-called legal aid lawyers didn't turn up in person to get the case adjourned (I bet they claimed for the day tho').
Did you ever get replies to the letters you wrote?
